LITMA has a history of Concert production dating back decades - a tradition in itself. Currently extensive logistic support for Concerts is in place but we need Producers to have a favorite artist to present to the community.

Each month LITMA presents two participatory singing events.

If you feel like making some music of your own, try shape note singing (as heard in the movie Cold Mountain) or a House Sing (many songs come out of the Rise Up Singing book)

Shape Note Sing

Shape Note singing uses a 19th century instruction book The Sacred Harp as its primary reference.

House Sing

House sings combine a song swap for singers, a picken party for musicians and a social evening in the kitchen for the cooks.

As an all volunteer, not for profit organization, we are always looking for volunteers to host House Sings and produce Concerts.
