We need to protect the floors, so please wear dance shoes or leather soled shoes. Sneakers are also OK.

+1. Contra Flourishes and Percussive Feet [Herb Lape] - (All)
Take your contra dance to the next level by learning flourishes that make contra dancing even more enjoyable. Turn those feet into a percussive instruments on those balances and petronellas. Learn to twirl or be twirled on a ladies chain. Eye contact and other subtleties.

+2. ECD - Beyond the Basics - Dancing with Style [Alixe Dancer] - (I,A)
(Please be comfortable with basic figures.) We can enhance the magic, grace and pleasure of English Country Dance when simple figures are danced with "style". With attention to timing, handing, eye contact, geometry and other elements of the dance we will discover and create "style".

+3. Scottish Country Dancing [Ann Smith] - (All)
Scottish Country Dancing is the ballroom dancing of Scotland. Enjoy learning and dancing reels, jigs, and strathspeys done in sets.

+4. ECD - The Music Tells Me What To Do [Tom Amesse] - (All)
English Country Dancing - Listen & step to the phrasing of the music.

+5. Put Some Fred & Ginger in your Waltzing [Marilyn Jordan/John Gallagher] - (All)
Did you enjoy watching Fred and Ginger dance? Learn some elegant Waltz steps even if you didn't think you could. Simple steps through more advanced sequences with a historical basis will be covered.

+6. Go With The Flow - Smooth Transitions in Contradancing [Chart Guthrie] - (All)
One of the joys of contradancing is flowing effortlessly from one figure to the next. The trick to this effortless flow is to stay with the music and anticipate where you and your partner need to be next. We will work on developing those skills and play with some smooth flowing contradances.
